God is the Author of His Story
- God wrote the Bible over 1500 years through 40 different authors, using 66 books. We believe the Bible to be perfect, free from error, and able to speak truth into our lives to this day.
God is the First Person in the Trinity
- We believe God is and always present, having all power and authority through time and space, seeing and knowing every intimate detail of our lives. He is Love and Justice and faithful to His promises to us.
Jesus is the Second Person in the Trinity
- Jesus is the visible image of the invisible God. Jesus is the only way to salvation, and with His sacrifice and Resurrection once and for all, defeated death, allowing a true and final forgiveness of our sins. It is through Jesus Christ that we are made right to a perfect God.
The Holy Spirit is the Third Person in the Trinity
- The Holy Spirit is constantly at work in our lives. His presence keeps us connected to God and convicts us of our sins. He comforts us and moves us to growth, giving us all that is needed to become more like Jesus.
God Three in One
- The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.
Chosen to Bear Likeness
- Man is the masterpiece of a gracious and loving God. The man was made to enjoy a close relationship with God but, through chosen disobedience, became separated through sin. There is nothing man can do to redeem a right relationship with God through his own actions. God has made each one of us unique and purposeful, and because of Jesus’ sacrifice, we are completely deserving of dignity and Christian love.
Jesus is the Only Way
- The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way to salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation happens only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as sufficient payment for their sins. Salvation is a gift from God; it cannot be earned, bought, or achieved through our own efforts.
The Way We Share in Community
- We are a community of baptized believers unified through our faith in Jesus Christ. We are committed to the teachings of Christ, to fellowship, being generous with each other, and praying for one another. Obeying all of His commands and bringing the Gospel to the world, the Church works together in love and unity to glorify Jesus Christ.
